MEDIA ADVISORY Highly Visual Event: Salt Lake Communtiy College is hosting Utah’s largest winter lowrider event
The Salt Lake Winter Lowrider Bicycle Show will display more than 35 lowriders (bicycles, tricycles, scooters, push cars, etc.). The lowriders will compete for seven different awards.
The evening will include a powerful panel discussion by Utah lowriders who will speak on the importance, of Chicano/a/x Culture, Familia, social justice, defining lowriders, and policy that affects lowrider culture. The panelists are individuals who have been highly active for decades in the lowrider community in Utah.
The event will include music by award-winning and well-known DJ Leemont.
In its fourth year, this event is family friendly, free and open to the public.
